“Simulation-based learning (SBL) in nursing education has proven to be highly effective, particularly in enhancing psychomotor skills – the “hands-on” aspect of nursing practice (Kim et al., 2016). The CV Academy at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital (ESJH) recognize the value of SBL and aim to integrate it more fully into their current curriculum, which primarily focuses on cognitive and affective learning (Study.com, 2019). This project addresses feedback from program graduates who requested more hands-on experiences and aligns with best practices in nursing education.”
